Important information

Registration: Always by 12:00 the day before. You will be informed by e-mail the afternoon before whether the programme is taking place.

Gondola ride: The Bettmeralp - Bettmerhorn ticket is not included. All participants must have a valid ski pass. Please purchase this in advance via the webshop or at one of the Aletsch Bahnen AG counters. NO sale of ski passes on the morning of the First Track!

Children under 6 years: Not recommended (only from Red Star level).

Description

First on the mountain

The dream of every winter sports enthusiast: carving the freshly groomed “white carpets” before anyone else! With the First Track offer, you can experience exactly that.

At 8:00, you take the gondola Bettmerhorn up to the Bettmerhorn mountain station. There, in the early morning hours, you kick off your ski day and enjoy the breathtaking panorama.

An offer for early risers

Starting December 31, 2025

Groups will be formed depending on the number of participants and accompanied by experienced ski instructors. With a bit of athletic spirit, you can enjoy several runs before the regular opening hours. After this impressive piste experience, the gondola takes you back up to the Bettmerhorn.

Starting March 25, 2026

With the earlier operating start (8:30 instead of 9:00), only one First Track descent will be offered.

The red slope on the Bettmerhorn is only suitable for advanced skiers. The skiing level must be at least Red Star for children and level 4 for adults.

Breakfast options

If you have booked the «First Track Pur» experience and have already had breakfast, the entire variety of slopes will be open to you from 9:00. For those who have booked «First Track with breakfast», a rich breakfast awaits you in the cozy atmosphere of the Bättmerhitta until 10:00. Afterwards, you can return to the slopes with fresh energy.
