A little piece of mountain happiness on the Riederalp: A bit away from the hustle and bustle, in a quiet location on the car-free Riederalp, the Chalet Basilisk awaits you. Here you can enjoy the special atmosphere of the Valais mountains, wonderful views, and the soothing tranquility of the Aletsch Arena. Our vacation apartment is located on the second floor of the chalet, which consists of three apartments. From the balcony, you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountain landscape. Whether with the first coffee in the morning or while comfortably winding down after an eventful day – here you find time to breathe.

The chalet is not directly on the ski slope. However, with sufficient snow, you can comfortably ski to the Moosfluh gondola after a short walk from the waste shed at Golmeneck / Panoramaweg. The return journey is also possible on skis under the right snow conditions, taking the descent via the Gopplerlücke. Our slightly set-back location has a special advantage: in the evenings, you enjoy wonderful peace without the immediate operation of the snow groomers. In summer, you will find diverse hiking trails, idyllic mountain lakes, and the unique nature surrounding the Great Aletsch Glacier. In winter, well-prepared slopes and breathtaking views of the Valais four-thousanders beckon.
